Hygeia is a 300-bed, tertiary care hospital located in the northern suburbs of Athens. It is a modern, multispecialty facility with 18 operating theaters and more than 1,000 highly trained clinical, technical, and administrative staff and 750 cooperating physicians covering 50 different medical specialties. It was the first private health care organization to operate in Greece back in 1975 and continues to be one of the leading health care providers in the country.
