Dubai Healthcare Corporation (DHC) was established in May 2018 as part of new organizational structure of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) under Government of Dubai to manage medical operations in public health facilities including four (4) government hospitals – Rashid Hospital, Dubai Hospital, Latifa Women and Children Hospital and Hatta Hospital and Centers including Specialized Healthcare Services (Dubai Diabetes Center, Dubai Fertility Center, Dubai Thalassemia Center, Dubai Cord Blood and Research Center, Dubai Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center and Dubai Complimentary Medicine Center), Primary Healthcare Services across different geographical regions of Dubai, Medical Fitness and Occupational Health Screening Services in the emirate of Dubai. In addition, Dubai Healthcare Corporation also comprises of following Offices: Disaster Management, Ambulatory Mobile Services, Centers of Excellence and General Medical Committee and Departments: Public Health Protection, Health Insurance and Revenue Cycle Management to serve the healthcare needs and expectations of citizens, residents and visitors and community of Dubai. DHC - DHA has become the first government entity in the world to successfully achieve network accreditation from JCI (Joint Commission International) for all its hospitals in first attempt.
